Daily update is a feature that lets your users receive Assistant notifications at their scheduled time each day. It’s available for Actions that offer content or updates on a regular basis, such as news headlines or weather forecasts.
To set up daily updates, open your Actions console and click Develop in the top menu. In the left panel, click Intents and then add a daily updates subscription flow to an existing intent or create a new one.
If you’re offering a daily update subscription, be sure to show the benefit to your user. Also, don’t prompt for this offer too often; if the user gets too many prompts, they might unsubscribe. Offer the registration flow mid-conversation or as a suggestion chip when they exit your Action successfully.
